This was our spot for the first family vacation for a solid week in over 5 years. Our kids are GenZ so not exactly easy to impress – but they said this was their best vacation ever. Hacienda Caribe is exceptionally well located at the south end of Isla Mujeres – away from the traffic and bustle of the tourist destinations on the north end of the island. This is the part of the island with the greatest natural beauty. The host was phenomenal – going above and beyond the exceptional expectations. Kevin gave us the name of every vendor we could possibly need during our stay. All of the best restaurants – which ones were worth visiting twice. Los Indios rented us the golf cart – which is a must if you are staying for any length of time – and so much fun! And their service was impeccable. My favorite thing – so hard to choose just one thing – about Hacienda Caribe had to be the infinity pool. Beds very comfortable – worth sleeping in! And the kitchens had everything you could want. Supermarket a short golf cart ride away. The views from this villa must be the best on the entire island. So soothing, so relaxing. And the multiple visits every day from the foraging iguanas had the whole family laughing. We were a 20 minute or so walk from the Punta Sur and the ruins – breathtaking. The islanders are so kind, so helpful, so FRIENDLY – it was a vacation spot I would enthusiastically recommend to families
Great house in the south end of the island. We have been to Isla multiple times so we’re aware of the lay of the land. It was great to have family time and this listing worked perfect for our family of five.
Case Perla was an amazing property, we loved the view and the privet pool. Is was off the main roads so it was really nice to be away from all the noisy golf carts and scooters. It’s has plenty of amazing food options with walking distance. Could not have asked for a better property and experience!
